A chance to improve your angling photos(not just grip n grins), at the Bass AGM, with guest speaker Henry Gilbey talking about angling photography plus Irelands John Quinlan on Irish bass, and David Curtis with the restoration project update. Also, some angling products to purchase and the annual raffle. This year’s AGM will be held on Sunday 2nd April and will be preceded by a separate BASS workshop which will be held on Saturday 1st April. Both events will be held at Oxstalls Tennis Centre, Gloucester and open to members and non-members. Attendees may arrive and leave at any point during the day. Following is the (provisional) agenda:
AGM Sunday 2nd April
9.30 Doors open – time to visit trade stands, socialise and buy raffle tickets
10.00 – 10.40 Welcome and formal society business, committee reports and election of officers
10.40 – 12.00 C-BASS project update – Victoria Bendall, CEFAS + Restoration project update (David Curtis) including the Irish perspective (John Quinlan)
12.00 – 13.00 Lunch break + time to socialise and buy raffle tickets and fishing toys
13:00 – 14:00 Fishing photography – Henry Gilbey
14.00 – 14:30 Presentation of annual awards and certificates
14:30 – 15:00 Break + more time to buy raffle tickets and fishing toys
15:00 – 16:30 General discussion including magazine matters, membership matters, logbook scheme and scale sampling
16:30 – 17:00 Drawing of the grand raffle (not to be missed!)
