DEFRA are holding a series of meetings to present the findings of the Sea Angling 2012 survey. It is hoped that these will be attended by as many anglers as possible to show how important to us are these findings.
David Mitchell of the Angling Trust writes:
“The meetings we have arranged are as follows:
Cornwall – County Hall, Truro – 13/03
Devon & Severn – Brixham SAC – 20/03
Southern – Poole – To be confirmed
Meetings have already taken place in Northumberland and Sussex. We (Angling Trust) have no formal representation in the NE, NW or Eastern Regions which means meetings will be unlikely – although anglers are encouraged to go to the open meetings of the IFCAs in these areas where the project team will be presenting the results of the SA2012 project to the committees (the Eastern and Kent & Essex IFCA meetings have already taken place).”
