BASS attended the CLA game fair over the weekend (22/23/24 of July) at Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxfordshire. Many thanks to those members who gave up their free time to help on our stand over those days. Your efforts were very much appreciated: my thanks to Jo Calver, Alan Parfitt, Jonny Stephenson and Nigel Horsman. Also thanks to the S&TA for giving us, yet again, the chance to talk to so many people.
We made some useful new contacts and strengthened our relationship with people and organisations we have worked with in the past. More details will appear in BASS magazine 138.
Nigel Horsman spotted the Fisheries Minister Richard Benyon and took the chance to talk about the issues that are affecting UK bass stocks.
