Ultimate Fishing is a company based in Belle Ile en Mer, in the Morbihan region. they specialize in the design of fishing lure equipment and its distribution to European stores. Their UK representative, Sietze Hendrick, will be at the show and will be giving 2 different talks during the day.

Trident is a Botnia Targa 25, built in 2002, with a recently installed Nanni 200hp diesel engine. This enables her to comfortably cruise at a speed of 22kns and a top speed of 30kns. With seating indoors for 5 people, we are able to travel regardless of the elements, meaning we can reach our destination in comfort and at speed. There is also ample seating to the front and rear of the boat, accessed by a walk around deck. She is skippered by Tom Walker, Tom has the sea in his veins. Spending most of his life on the water be it on a surf board, out on leisure boats or diving to explore what lies beneath. He runs trips from Mudeford Quay in an area he knows like the back of his hand.

Charles Nelson makes some of the best needlefish style lures money can buy – check out his website “I was born in 1963 and I have been a fishing addict as far back as I can remember. I am now very lucky to have settled with my family in Pembrokeshire, a bass fishing paradise. Having been intrigued by the well documented exploits of the Jersey Bass Guides. In particular their adaptation of American, striped bass, needlefish techniques for use when targeting the bass on this side of the Atlantic, I began to think that making a few of my own needlefish would add a further dimension to my lure fishing and keep the bass fishing mind whirring when the bass were not about. After reading one of Henry Gilbey’s blog posts suggesting the need for a “hard bodied slightly longer casting, Wave Worm sized lure, the design parameters for my first needlefish were set. I have made and tested many different variations of needlefish over the past few years and along the way have given many to fishing friends that have shown an interest. It is their feedback on top of my own successes with these lures that has led me to start offering some of the most productive versions for sale.”
