On 26 January 2006 Defra launched a new publication, ‘Fishing Focus’, a newsletter for marine fisheries stakeholders. The newsletter is a joint publication from Defra and the Marine Fisheries Agency (MFA) and aims to improve communications with stakeholders.
Defra and MFA are seeking feedback on this trial issue of the newsletter. If you would like to comment, please contact, fishingfocus@defra.gsi.gov.uk before 20 February 2006.

The trial issue of ‘fishing focus’ makes no reference to recreational sea angling issues, despite assurances given by Defra that it regards the recreational sea angling industry as a major stakeholder.]
