Congratulations to Gary Austin, winner of the first BASS sponsored ‘Catch & Release’ award trophy. Many thanks to all at Poole Bay Small Boat Angling Club for allowing us to run this competition within their open event held on Sunday 12th November 2006.
The purpose of the BASS award was to raise awareness of the many issues currently affecting the bass fishery and recreational sports angling for bass. BASS also promoted the new MLS of 40cm which comes into effect in April 2007.
